Livonia Public Library Board Welcomes New Members
The Livonia Public Library Board welcomes as their newest members Jim Cornell, Christine Cruso, and Denise Cendoma.
Jim Cornell has been a resident of the Livonia area for 40 years. He is recently retired from Livingston County where he served as Director of Social Services. His three children attended Livonia Central School. His interests include horticulture, travel, and literature.
Livonia Resident, Christine M. Cruso, is both a wife and mother who works full time as an Operations Supervisor for STARS. Christine is actively involved in the community, serving in the United Methodist Church of Livonia and as the Secretary of the Livonia Jr. Bulldogs Youth Football/Cheer Organization.
Denise Cendoma and her family have been Livonia residents for 14 years. Denise and her husband have three children who attend Livonia Central School and are active in various school and community activities.
We are pleased with the new additions to the Livonia Library Board of Trustees, said Mae Sharman, Board of Trustees President. Each of the new members brings enthusiasm and broad-based backgrounds of community service. With the future expansion planned for the spring of 2015, We are certain our new board members will fulfill the mission of service to our patrons of the Livonia Public Library
Livonia Public Library is overseen by a volunteer board of nine appointed members. Livonia Town Board member Angela Grouse serves as the Library Liaison.
